Exploratory Committee 2006

Contributions are always welcome in political campaigns, and this one is no exception.  If you believe in legitimate governing, accountability of funds, responsibility of appointees, and credibility of the people working for you, then you need to assure its success!

In the 2002 campaign, Zarwell used $0.00 to earn 522,000 votes against the second most popular politician in Maryland history and to promote a "Straight Republican vote".  It worked using new media and resulted in a new skew for the Governor's win by a narrow margin of 4% in other than the traditional three Democratic bastions of votes by whatever means.

Gene  prefers to have his constituents network their peers, relatives, neighbors, and associates rather then add their name to public lists for retribution later.  However, some administrative fees and consultants wish to be paid in $$$$ rather than in-kind, so if a third party committee is formed it will provide a more positive effect on the electorate to win against whichever Democrat succeeds in their very nasty primary.  Let's keep ours positive with little use of public media to avoid giving them the headlines.

To prevent such lists, let's establish an "appearance fee" collected by the requesting organization with no contributions exceeding the minimum required reporting amount.  Let's not give the opposition the edge this next time.  You can give me your one-vote and contribute to the Republican party through the Maryland Republican Central Committee and through your county Central Committee.  That way maybe we'll be able to rally the voters to back our candidates.

Contributions to ZARWELL for U.S. Senate are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.  However, if you believe it will take a lot of money to beat the incumbent you can contribute to my campaign.

My concerns about the issues for this election are:

 Thank you.

It is anticipated that Senator Sarbanes will retire and speculation is that Former Governor Glendenning, Mayor Martin O'Malley, and Carl Ivy, of Kawsi M. Fume may be the candidates for the Democratic nomination if the "Slots" and "Casinos" are rebuked by the legislature.  Democratic contributors will attempt to buy the seat to protect their "rights" to "your" government money.
